A leading car buying business is seeking a Head of Marketing to spearhead growth initiatives across the UK and US. I’m supporting a market-leading, fast-growing car buying business to hire an exceptional Head of Marketing to drive their next phase of UK and US expansion. This is a standout opportunity for a performance-driven marketing leader with deep B2C experience and a track record of scaling high-volume digital acquisition.
My client is the clear leader in their sector and one of the fastest-growing car buying companies globally. In the UK, they generate more than 100,000 customer enquiries every month and process tens of thousands of vehicles via high-traffic digital platforms and nationwide operations. They’ve recently launched across multiple US States with an ambitious plan to scale nationwide. Although the business is over 15 years old and highly profitable, it retains the pace, energy and ambition of a start-up, without the risk. Their ambition is bold: to reach a billion-dollar valuation within five years. As part of that journey, they intend to reward those who make a meaningful impact with potential equity, offering genuine long-term wealth creation.
This is a digitally-led, high-impact role overseeing the marketing function across both the UK and US. Around 60–70% of the remit is performance and lead generation, with the remainder focused on brand, market development and revenue growth. You’ll lead an in-house team across PPC, SEO, content, outreach/affiliates, social and UX, working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional heads. The company’s growth to date has been powered by PPC and organic search, so a strong grounding in digital acquisition and high-volume optimisation is essential. You’ll be responsible for driving efficiency, improving lead quality, shaping the brand story, and orchestrating marketing efforts as the business enters new US States.
