Overview

Contract: Fixed term - maternity cover. This is an excellent opportunity to join Swansea University and use your experience to lead its Marketing Intelligence Service within the Marketing, Recruitment & International (MRI) directorate.

This pivotal role, covering a period of maternity leave, will lead a high-performing analytical team, delivering market intelligence, research, and insight to inform strategic and operational decision-making across the University, in areas of marketing, recruitment and internationalisation activity. You will play a key role in shaping the University’s academic portfolio, ensuring a market-led approach and enabling evidence-based marketing and student recruitment activity.

Responsibilities
  • lead the development and implementation of marketing intelligence plans
  • provide analysis and reporting on the global HE market
  • measure and optimise the impact of marketing and recruitment campaigns
  • collaborate with external bodies such as UCAS and JISC to enhance insight capabilities
  • empower colleagues across MRI to make data-driven decisions
  • work closely with Faculties and other Professional Services to provide meaningful insight
Qualifications
