Blair West are supporting Flooring Superstore to find a Head of Marketing. This is a senior leadership role, created to align the marketing strategy with overall commercial goals, reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer.

With responsibility for brand, digital, CRM, and social channels, the role will lead a multi-channel marketing team while driving measurable commercial impact.

The opportunity:

  • Define and implement the marketing strategy in alignment with the CCO and wider business objectives.
  • Lead on messaging, positioning, and marketing mix to optimise customer engagement and commercial results.
  • Manage channel ownership across brand, digital, social, SEO, CRM, and paid media.
  • Ensure brand consistency and customer experience excellence across all touchpoints.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a multi-functional marketing team.
  • Manage significant budgets and external resources to deliver high-performing campaigns.
  • Oversee measurement and reporting to ensure marketing activity directly drives sales and margin outcomes.
  • Foster a culture of creativity, innovation, and continuous improvement across the marketing team.

You’ll be the ideal candidate for this position if you have:

  • Proven experience leading marketing strategy and teams in a multi-channel retail or consumer environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to connect marketing activity directly to sales and revenue.
  • Deep understanding of both performance and brand marketing.
  • Experience managing substantial budgets, agencies, and internal teams.
  • Track record of delivering measurable marketing ROI.
  • Ability to collaborate across functions, including sales, merchandising, and operations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach where needed.
