A Head of HR to:

  • Lead the HR function
  • Manage the full employee life-cycle
  • Review the HR function and modernise it
  • Play a key role in significantly changing the HR function and embedding best practice across the organisation
  • Reviewing and update HR policies and processes,
  • Line manage one HR professional
  • Support with the implementation and roll out of a new HRIS and ATS, and aligning this to new processes
  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organisational goals
  • Ensure all HR policies and procedures comply with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Lead initiatives to improve employee engagement and workplace culture
  • Support the organisation\'s leadership team during this interim period of change
  • Manage employee relations casework
  • Lead staff well-being initiatives
Profile

A successful Head of HR should have:

  • Previous line management experience
  • Previous experience in updating a HR function
  • Previous experience working in Education essential
