GVA Search is proud to be partnering exclusively with a rapidly-growing FMCG business in central London, which is looking to recruit a Head of Finance. This role will play an integral part in driving business performance, reporting directly to the Finance Director. Responsibilities include managing all financial aspects of the company's daily operations, delivering timely and accurate management accounts, and providing insightful analysis and recommendations.

The Head of Finance will develop and improve monthly financial metrics, implement policies and procedures for sound financial management, and align these with the company's objectives.

SOME OF THE ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

• Support the Finance Director in the company's accounting functions.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and board reports, ensuring timely and insightful reporting to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the Finance Director on the company's financial strategy to optimize performance.
• Contribute to company strategy development, providing financial analysis and guidance.
• Lead and develop the accounting team, setting SMART goals and ensuring professional growth.
• Manage the annual budget to meet financial targets and regulatory requirements.
• Provide financial advice to managers and staff.
• Work closely with the CEO, COO, and other senior leaders.
• Ensure financial systems are robust, compliant, and support growth.
• Maintain compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Develop policies and procedures for effective financial management.
• Monitor external contracts to ensure value for money.
• Ensure the company meets its financial and legal obligations.
• Drive financial planning by analyzing performance and risks.
