We’re partnering with a high-profile, values-led organisation to appoint a Head of Engineering into a critical, board-level position reporting directly to the CEO. The Opportunity

As Head of Engineering, you will lead all engineering, maintenance, IT and infrastructure across a large, operational estate. You will be responsible for setting standards, building long-term asset strategies, developing high-performing teams, and ensuring every system performs with reliability and precision.

This is a hands-on leadership role with real autonomy, influence at the top table, and the chance to leave a lasting legacy.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

• Full leadership of a multidisciplinary Engineering & Maintenance function
• Asset management across buildings, plant, vehicles, IT, CCTV and infrastructure
• Owning and optimising the CMMS and maintenance planning strategy
• Budget ownership, capital investment planning and lifecycle management
• Driving preventative maintenance and continuous improvement
• Developing a strong health, safety and compliance culture
• Leading and inspiring internal teams and specialist contractors
• Maintaining a strong on-site presence and visible leadership style

What We’re Looking For

• Degree-qualified in a relevant Engineering discipline
• 7+ years’ experience in senior engineering or technical leadership
• Strong background in facilities, estates or multi-site engineering operations
• Excellent planner with proven scheduling and CMMS experience
• Confident leader of multidisciplinary technical teams
• Commercially aware with budget and capital project experience
• Comfortable operating at senior leadership level with high autonomy
