Job description
Overview

Join Aster Group as our Head of Delivery Assurance. You'll become part of the Property Services Senior Leadership team, having accountability for defining, shaping and delivering the optimisation of Property Services.

You’ll be working closely with the senior team to identify process and performance concerns, leading to the creation of corrective plans and actions, including training, resource and process changes.

The role will be instrumental in leading change and developing and maintaining a positive, enthusiastic and empowered culture and will be considered the SME for any transformation projects, especially around system implementation.

Working with Aster's digital teams you will help develop dashboards that will hold accurate data that has been cleansed and is fit for purpose, enabling senior leaders to have clear operational performance insight and management information. This will lead to supporting continuous business improvement and adherence to regulatory and safety standards.

Working with you will be a small team of Complaint Resolution colleagues, who will handle and help in the resolution of complaints that fall under the Property Services remit. The team will have clear objectives to firstly find resolutions quickly, whilst reviewing the root cause data to help design preventative measures, which will include process change, training and behaviours., We invest in our colleagues because we know if they have a better day at work, the service our customers receive will be better.

Qualifications

You’ll have significant experience of working within a large social housing provider, with specific experience of repairs/maintenance/estate services and/or experience of working in a regulated compliance sector at Head of/Director level.

You will bring to the role:

  • A professional project management qualification or Lean Six Sigma discipline and demonstrable relevant experience
  • A CIH level 5 qualification in Housing or be working towards it
  • A demonstrable track record of leading strategic business development, leading a business or large team through several cycles of business planning/execution
  • Previous experience of managing and delivery budgets of circa £5m
  • A proven track record of proven experience of leadership, motivation, coaching. inspiring and engaging teams and delivering high performance across all areas of responsibility.
  • Proven experience of managing large projects/transformation across a business area with successful stakeholder management over the wider organisation
  • Experience in delivering change management processes and complex people, business, and digital initiatives.
Additional Information

This is a hybrid role enabling you to base yourself from home. There will be the need to travel in our operating region from time to time.

Our operating region includes Hampshire, Wiltshire, Somerset, Dorset, Devon, Cornwall and London.
