The Head of Credit Risk IT leads the development, implementation, and management of technology solutions for credit risk management. This role oversees credit risk models, ensures data integrity, and provides strategic direction to enhance credit risk processes. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, compliance with regulations, and driving innovation are key aspects of this role.

What you'll be doing

  • Oversee the design and implementation of credit risk models and systems.
  • Integrate advanced analytics and machine learning techniques.
  • Develop and execute the Credit Risk IT technology strategy.
  • Provide visionary leadership and foster a culture of innovation.
  • Manage the Credit Risk IT budget.
  • Oversee vendor relationships and contracts.

What you'll need to be successful

We're looking for the following skills and experience. If you don't have all of these but think you could be a good fit for the role, get in touch.

  • Credit risk management with a focus on IT solutions.
  • CFA, FRM, PRM, PMP, ITIL certifications are advantageous.
  • Proven senior leadership experience in financial services.
  • Experience in developing and implementing credit risk models preferably using FIS Adaptiv or Murex.
  • Proficiency in advanced analytics and data management technologies preferably using Java
  • Ability to lead and manage high-performing teams.
  • Experience in strategic planning and execution.
  • Experience in managing large-scale IT projects.
