Job summary

A leading Facilities Service provider is seeking a Head of Compliance for their Education portfolio in East London. You will direct the compliance assurance function, manage a specialist team, and ensure statutory compliance across technical operations. Ideal candidates will have senior level experience in Facilities Management, preferably with a background in Mechanical or Electrical engineering. Strong familiarity with key statutory safety regulations is essential. This role offers a mix of site, office, and home working.

Qualifications

• Experience in a senior statutory compliance role within Facilities Management.
• Mechanical or Electrical engineering background preferred.
• Proven experience in leading a technical or compliance-focused team.

Responsibilities

• Direct the FM independent Compliance Assurance function.
• Own and develop the statutory compliance assurance framework.
• Audit and verify technical compliance obligations.

Skills

Significant experience in Statutory Compliance

Knowledge of M&E systems

Experience in Facilities Management

Leadership and team management

Understanding of gas safety regulations

Knowledge of fire safety regulations

Knowledge of water hygiene (L8)
