Salary: £60,000 – £80,000 per annum

Responsibilities
  • Define and execute the broking strategy in line with business growth objectives.
  • Contribute to the overall business strategy as part of the senior leadership team.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement across broking.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the broking teams to ensure high performance and collaboration.
  • Provide technical training, guidance, and performance management.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, compliance, and accountability.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with insurers and underwriters.
  • Negotiate favourable terms, coverage, and pricing for client placements.
  • Ensure market knowledge is current and shared across the business.
  • Support complex and high-value placements, including programme design and structuring.
  • Ensure all broking documentation and placement files meet regulatory and company standards.
  • Ensure broking practices meet FCA regulations and internal compliance requirements.
  • Contribute to the development of risk management and governance frameworks.
  • Oversee timely and accurate MI reporting and broking audits.
  • Partner with client directors and account executives to support new business and renewals.
  • Deliver cost-effective broking solutions that enhance client value and broker margin.
Candidate Criteria
