In this role, you will ensure restaurant operations run smoothly and mentor junior chefs. You will also work closely with the Executive Head Chef on daily tasks. Ideal candidates will have prior experience in Japanese cuisine and a demonstrated record in achieving targets, alongside a passion for hospitality. We are currently recruiting for an experienced Japanese Cuisine Head Chef to join
our Iconic Rooftop Japanese Cuisine Restaurant and bar 8 at The Londoner.
An amazing opportunity to join 8 at The Londoner as a Head Chef. In this role of Head Chef, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the Japanese restaurant.
You will be supporting the Executive Head Chef on a daily basis to ensure the section is maintained to The Londoner standard.
You will assist the other sections in preparing and cooking food according to business requirements, all in-keeping with The Londoner Tone of Voice.
Coach develop and mentor the junior chefs in the brigade ensuring they reach their potential.
Ensure guest expectations are exceeded and seek opportunities to improve the guest experience by seeking feedback and evaluating service levels.
Implementing and developing food strategies to improve where necessary.
