Job summary

A healthcare staffing agency in the Birmingham area is seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants to provide complex care and support to vulnerable individuals. This role requires knowledge of PEG feeding, trauma-informed approaches, and the ability to work in crisis environments. Flexible shift patterns, up to £15.00 per hour, are available. Job description

We are seeking experienced HCA / Healthcare Assistants / Support Workers for ongoing opportunities across North West Birmingham area. Preferably a driver.

Candidate Specification:
  • Complex Care, including (but not limited to): PEG Feeding, Stoma Care, Tracheostomy Management, NG / NJ Tube Management
  • Working with children in crisis intervention environments
  • Supporting adults with severe mental health challenges
  • Providing care within supported living services
  • Knowledge of working service users affected by substance misuse, gangs and county lines influences
  • Ability to provide a trauma-informed approach when working with service users
  • Working in environments requiring 2:1 (or higher) support
Shifts:
  • Shift patterns to be confirmed, depending on the package. Anywhere from 2 hours +, including weekend cover. Flexible to work around the service users’ needs.

Rate Range: Up to £15.00 per hour

Training:

Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) training, Mandatory Training and PMVA Training is available. Please express your interest to book yourself on.
