Main duties of the job
  • Providing face-to-face support to patients within our practices
  • Carrying out clinical duties such as blood pressure checks, ECGs, phlebotomy, wound care, weight management, and NHS health checks
  • B12, shingles, pneumococcal and flu injections
  • Supporting the nursing and GP team in chaperoning patients
  • Assisting in the assessment and surveillance of patients health & wellbeing
  • Vaccine and cold chain storage monitoring and recording
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date clinical records
  • Assisting with infection control and general health promotion
  • Contributing to a positive and proactive team culture
  • Support with clinical stock control management - clearing and restocking consultation rooms

Person Specification
Experience
