A leading quantum technology firm in the UK is seeking a highly-qualified Hardware Technician to launch and maintain the Helios quantum computer. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and experience in R&D. We are seeking a highly-qualified Hardware Technician to join our team launching, maintaining, developing, and operating an on-premises Helios quantum computer at a customer site. Helios is our next-generation quantum computer with 98 physical qubits and error rates <10-3. This will be our second Hardware-as-a-Service offering following our installation of a quantum computer at RIKEN’s Wako, Japan campus. The ideal candidate will bring their previous experience working with cutting-edge hardware in a commercial or research environment to bear on the Helios system.
