Qualifications

Hangar Cleaner / Driver

Location : Oxford

Contract : 6‑month contract, likely to be extended

Pay : £15.00 per hour PAYE / £20.07 per hour Umbrella

Hours : Monday to Friday, 08:30‑17:00 (37.5 hrs per week)

Clearance : Start on BPSS. Must be able to get SC clearance due to working around ITAR equipment.

Travel : Occasional UK collections / deliveries

About the Role

We're looking for a Cleaner / Driver to help keep our hangar areas tidy and safe, and to support the team with occasional deliveries and collections. You'll play an important part in keeping the workspace clean, reducing the risk of debris around aircraft, and helping move equipment when needed.

What You'll Do
  • Keep hangar floors clear of litter and debris to prevent Foreign Object Debris (FOD) risks
  • Empty non‑toxic waste bins and dispose of them in the correct areas
  • Clean washrooms and changing rooms
  • Sweep the outside apron area and the space in front of hangar entrances
  • Drive company vehicles to collect or deliver equipment and stock items within the UK
  • Load and unload items safely at customer or supplier sites
What You'll Need
  • Able to follow directions and use sat‑nav systems
  • Able to use automated floor cleaning equipment (training provided)
  • Good awareness of safety and security in a busy engineering environment
  • Able to communicate clearly with supervisors, managers and colleagues
Qualifications / Requirements
  • A clean and current driving licence (Class 2 preferred)
  • Clear spoken communication and neat handwriting
  • Manual handling training (a certificate of attendance is fine)
