MC Technical Recruitment are currently recruiting for an assistant to a busy QHSE team, to work in a manufacturing plant based in Ipswich. Our client is a leading organisation within their sector, with the opportunity for an environmentally or H&S qualified person to join their team.

Responsibilities
  • Implement & maintain environmental standards
  • Review & approve environmental risk assessments
  • Help maintain the Environmental Agency Permits
  • Help with toolbox talks & environmental training for staff & engineers
  • Assisting the Environmental Manager with the Environmental Management System
  • Maintain accurate files & reports
  • Understand the wider legislative environment including future changes
Qualifications
  • A relevant environmental qualification or certificate
  • Experience & understanding of environmental reporting
  • Experience in a manufacturing engineering or related technical sector
  • Knowledge of Health, Safety & Environmental legislation
  • A good knowledge or Word, Excel with the ability to prepare reports
