A leading aviation service provider is looking for a Tax Adviser to join their Tax team in the City of Edinburgh. You will be responsible for tax accounting, compliance, and advisory work for a multinational group. The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in corporate tax advisory work and be a fully qualified accountant or tax adviser. The individual will be a key member of the Menzies Group Tax team working on the tax accounting, advisory and compliance for a multinational group operating in 65 countries. Important parts of the role will be having responsibility for reviewing and challenging the consolidation of current and deferred tax provisions, supporting with the group's transfer pricing documentation, country-by-country reporting, pillar 2 compliance as well as inputting into tax aspects of wider business activities.
Upon joining, the Tax Adviser will report to the Head of Tax & Internal Audit on an interim basis. Following the return of the Group Tax Manager from maternity leave, reporting responsibilities will transition to the Group Tax Manager.
