Overview

As part of the Group Head Office finance team, this role is key to managing group financial accounting processes and delivering accurate financial reporting. This role will report into the Group Finance Manager in a mid size finance team. You will be part of a team with excellent culture and benefits. This is a permanent role and will suit a candidate from a top 10 accounting firm.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing monthly management accounts, year-end financial accounts, and statutory audits.
  • Assisting with group consolidated accounts and audit deliverables.
  • Producing group reports and maintaining group accounting policies.
  • Managing journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany journals, payments, and cash transfers.
  • Liaising with territory finance teams, providing technical guidance, and ensuring accurate month- and year-end reporting.
  • Driving process improvements and strengthening financial controls.
Qualifications

What we're looking for:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA or equivalent) with strong technical/statutory accounting expertise.
  • Experience in external audit and financial reporting.
  • Confident communicator across finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • Strong Excel skills and ability to work with group consolidation systems.
  • Proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience completing year-end audits and working with multi-site/multi-currency operations.
