Grounds Maintenance Operative

Location: Weston Super Mare

Salary: Above Real living wage

Contract Type: Full time - permanent

Typical Hours: 40 hours per week Monday-Friday

We're looking for reliable and skilled Grounds Maintenance Operatives to support the delivery of high‑quality grounds services across Weston‑Super‑Mare. What you'll be responsible for:

• Carrying out routine and specialist grounds maintenance tasks including grass cutting, shearing, hedge trimming, spraying, pruning, and litter picking.
• Operating a range of equipment and machinery safely and effectively.
• Maintaining tools, vehicles and PPE to a high standard and reporting any defects.
• Recording completed work using mobile technology (training provided).
• Working collaboratively with your team to meet quality and performance targets.

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience in a similar grounds maintenance role.
• A good understanding of health & safety procedures and safe equipment use.
• Full UK driving licence (preferred).
• Spraying qualifications (PA1 & PA6) and/or horticultural certification.
• A proactive professional attitude and ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
