Are you looking for a hands‑on role where no two days are the same? We currently have an opportunity available for a Grounds and Site Maintenance Technician to join our team working in Bournemouth. Joining us on a full‑time, permanent basis, you will receive a competitive salary of £23,000 - £26,000 per annum plus excellent benefits.

About the Role :

As our Grounds and Site Maintenance Technician, you will carry out a range of maintenance activities at various sites including slow sand filter cleaning and the maintenance at Alderney and Knapp Mill Water Treatment Works. The role will include routine checks, maintenance and operating of mobile plant and will also be an element of grounds and building maintenance activities at various sites such as grass cutting, strimming and basic building maintenance.

What You Will Be Doing :

Operating specialist mobile plant including skimmers, loading shovels, forklifts, dumpers and excavators; Operating and maintaining the sand washing plants; Raking and shovelling weed from slow sand filters; Site housekeeping, including road sweeping, drain clearing, grass cutting and hedge trimming activities; Performing daily water quality checks on the slow sand filters; Assisting the Production team with valve operations; Assisting the Production team with reservoir and tank cleaning; The completion of reactive and planned grounds and general maintenance work across SWW assets including, but ...
