Permanent position in the Industrial & Manufacturing sector, Hull.

GREENHOUSE OPERATOR/GENERAL LABOURER

Location: Hull

Salary: £12.21 per hour, overtime rate £18.31

Working hours:
Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM (plus Saturdays in peak times)

Requirements: Driving Licence is essential due to location.

Job Responsibilities

1. Oversee all aspects of crop cultivation, ensuring efficient production, quality control, and compliance with industry standards.
2. Monitor crop health, identify issues such as pests and diseases, and implement interventions to maximize yield.
3. Develop and execute crop planting plans based on demand, soil, and weather conditions.
4. Implement irrigation and fertilization strategies.
5. Oversee harvesting processes to ensure timely and efficient operations.
6. Maintain accurate records of crop yields, quality, and pest management.
7. Ensure compliance with agricultural regulations and promote sustainable practices.
