Do you want to work with a friendly, fun team in a unique setting that's more than just a business? Do you want to help Camphill Village Trust become a leader in the provision of Green Care? As the Green Care Coordinator, you will be tasked with supporting the Regional Green Care Manager, in leading the Green Care team in Botton, to ensure the provision and delivery of high-quality training and educational pathways, and nature-based activities for people with learning and other disabilities to create a sense of accomplishment, personal accountability, and self-confidence in acquiring and developing new skills, while promoting inclusivity and a sense of belonging in a land-based community. Our Green Care opportunities offer a diverse programme of activities that take place across our social farms, gardens and creative workshops, as well as in our social enterprises including cafes, farm shops and food production centres. As the Green Care Coordinator, you will assist the Regional Manager in developing and growing the Trust's Green Care opportunities as well ensuring the seamless day-to-day operations of these programmes while setting out the expectations of individuals contributions and managing the balance between production and support. To achieve this, you will need to ensure the programme is delivered within the Trusts Green Care framework, enabling rigorous quality control measures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Additionally, you will need to assist the Regional Manager in maintaining the financial stability of the programme. Finally, you will need to lead and motivate teams to deliver a person-centred and outcome-focused approach, ensuring optimal performance and delivery of a well-managed and good quality Green Care programme. Locations & Travel Botton Village (Danby, North Yorkshire) The role will be based at Botton Village, Danby, in the North Yorkshire Moors. To be considered for the role, you must be able to reliably travel to our site. Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities
  • To achieve the aims of the Green Care Programme within the Trust's bespoke framework.
  • To ensure the delivery of educational and training activities that promote healthy lifestyles, whether that be within our land-based work, retail, hospitality or nature-based craft opportunities, with a focus on providing a green approach that aligns with the Trust's commitment to sustainability.
  • Lead and manage the delivery of high-quality, caring, and equitable service to the people we support.
  • Ensure support is of a high standard and focused on person-centred outcomes and creates opportunities for development and progression.
  • Supporting programme leads to develop individualised plans for participants in the programme, including assessing their skills and interests, identifying barriers to progression, and developing strategies to overcome these barriers and ensuring co-production is a key focus.
  • Support the regional manager to secure funding for programme activities and ensuring resources are allocated effectively.
  • Champion the change of new delivery methods as they are introduced by the Trust and ensure they are embedded in the team.
  • Ensure qualified, experienced, and highly motivated and capable staff are safely, fairly, and effectively recruited, inducted, trained, developed, supervised, and appraised and are supported to work collaboratively together to meet individual's needs.
  • Responsible for ensuring the quality of our services by efficiently managing and monitoring service delivery. This includes conducting regular reviews and audits of service compliance in line with regulatory and contractual obligations and promptly reporting any non-compliance or critical incidents to the Regional Manager.
  • Responsibility for coordinating internal quality processes to ensure their effectiveness and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure that people accessing Green Care opportunities have regular assessment of their needs, regular reviews with social workers, family members, and key workers, and up to date support plans are in place, and that appropriate risk assessments are undertaken.
  • Build and maintain excellent working relationships with key stakeholders, including local authority, other funders, and regulators to promote and secure Camphill Village Trust's reputation and profile within the region.
  • Support the Regional Manager in community development for Botton in relation to the development and provision of the Trusts Green Care programme.
  • Ensure the assessment and induction of new people to our services is effective and a curated choice of structured activities is offered and ensure contracts and all necessary funding is agreed and in place.
  • Provide a life of opportunity, assist and undertake projects, and participate in local and national events as determined.
  • Lead on the referral, assessment and admission of new people to our Green Care Programmes in Botton, ensuring they have a contract and all necessary funding in place.
  • Work with wider stakeholders to grow and develop the Trust's Green Care offer and increase the number of participants in our opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Level 3 qualification or above in Education, Health and Social Care or equivalent experience.
  • Full driving licence.
  • PC‑literate.
Desirable
  • Level 4 qualification or above in Education, Health and Social Care or equivalent experience, or a willingness to work towards it.
  • Previous experience with adults with learning disabilities or experience within the sector.
  • Minimum of two years' experience of managing a team.
  • Experience of delivering educational and training activities that promote healthy lifestyles, green care activities, and outdoor work.
  • Experience of quality assurance processes and evidencing outcomes/standards.
  • Skilled written communicator with experience of report writing.
  • Experience of working with and management of stakeholders to increase funding, development of growth opportunities and partnerships.
  • Health and safety management, regulatory compliance experience and a basic understanding of contract management.
  • Develop, mentor and coach staff, to ensure their personal development needs are met and managed.
  • Knowledge and experience of safeguarding.
  • Be familiar with co‑production within Social Care.

  • Be able to demonstrate excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with programme participants, families, and community stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
