Job summary

A leading media and entertainment company is seeking a GREEK Paralegal Executive to assist with preparing legal documents, liaising with the Greek office, and supporting M&A meetings. This role requires a good Law degree and fluency in both Greek and English. Ideal candidates may include recent law graduates looking for a first step into the legal profession. The position offers a hybrid work style, providing a great training opportunity with significant exposure to exciting legal deals.

Qualifications

  • Essential to have a good Law degree.
  • Fluent in both English and Greek is required.
  • Previous office administration experience is necessary.
  • Exposure to Private equity deals is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing legal documents and filings.
  • Liaise with the Greek office and legal team.
  • Attend deal and M&A meetings.
  • Translate and interpret during meetings.
  • Conduct legal research to support M&A deals.
  • Provide administrative support to the Head of Legal.

Company details

You will be joining a very exciting fast-growth commercial business within the media and entertainment world. The business is flourishing and has just taken on a new global head of Legal who needs paralegal support and who can work effectively with the team based in Greece. This is a fun, engaging and exciting opportunity in which you will attend deal meetings, support your boss and get real exposure to up to 20 M+A Television and entertainment deals in the coming year. The new Head of Legal is also delightful and will get you very involved operationally!

Duties
  • Assist in preparing legal documents, correspondence, and filings
  • Liaise constantly with the Greek office and the legal team there
  • Attend deal and M&A meetings.
  • Translate and interpret for meetings
  • Conduct legal research and gather relevant information to support M&A deals
  • Provide secretarial administrative support to the Head of Legal (incl diary management, organising travel, management of expenses, booking flights etc)
Requirements
  • Good Law degree (essential)
  • Fluent English & Greek
  • Some previous office admin experience
  • Ideally previous exposure to Private equity deals (This must be clearly marked on the cv)

This role would also suit a recent law graduate with some experience in private equity and good admin skills looking for a first step into the legal profession. There will be full training provided that will enable you to segue into a full legal role and away from admin.
