An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Transport Planner to join our dynamic team in Nottingham. We are a leading consultancy specialising in transport and infrastructure planning, offering a collaborative and supportive work environment. Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of transport assessments, travel plans, and feasibility studies.
  • Support the development of transport strategies for a range of projects, including residential, commercial, and infrastructure developments.
  • Undertake data collection, traffic modelling, and analysis using software such as Junctions 9, LinSig, and TRICS.
  • Assist in producing technical reports and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
  • Liaise with local authorities, clients, and other stakeholders to support project delivery.
  • Keep up to date with relevant policies, standards, and regulations in transport planning.
About you
  • A degree in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Geography, or a related discipline.
  • 1-2 years of experience working in a transport planning consultancy.
  • Proficiency in transport planning software such as Junctions 9, LinSig, TRICS, or similar tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good understanding of UK transport planning policies and guidance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
