JOB – Graduate Technical Support Engineer
LOCATION – Brightlingsea
TERM – Permanent
SALARY – £25,000 to £32,000 per annum (plus benefits)
My client is a leading engineering and technology company supplying products into a range of industries. They are looking to take on a Graduate Technical Support Engineer to join their team in Brightlingsea.
The Graduate Technical Support Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
- Strong technical problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, for dealing with customers and internal teams
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ideally some experience with CAD or ERP systems
- A willingness to learn and develop within a technical support environment
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Customer-focused attitude with good organisational skills
Responsibilities
- Providing technical support to customers on the company’s products and systems
- Assisting with fault diagnosis, troubleshooting, and technical queries
- Working closely with the engineering and production teams to resolve issues
- Preparing technical documentation, reports, and manuals
- Supporting product testing and validation activities
- Ensuring all technical support activities are logged and tracked
- Gaining hands-on product knowledge and training to develop into a key technical expert
