Teacher Training Program – Fareham

About the Role

What You’ll Gain
  • In-School Experience: From the very start, you will be based in a Fareham school, immersed in daily classroom life. You’ll support pupils across a range of ages and abilities, gradually taking on more teaching responsibility as your confidence grows.
  • Structured Training: Alongside your school-based role, you’ll take part in a bespoke CPD and training program. This includes workshops on lesson planning, behaviour management, inclusive education, assessment, safeguarding, and effective use of technology.
  • Mentorship and Support: Each trainee is paired with an experienced mentor within their school. You’ll receive regular guidance, feedback, and encouragement, ensuring that you make steady progress throughout the program.
  • Progression to QTS: Year 1 focuses on developing your skills through hands-on experience and targeted training. In Year 2, you will complete your Initial Teacher Training (ITT), leading to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
