Description

I am currently working with an established and expanding FMCG organisation based in Manchester City Centre, who are looking for a Supply Chain Trainee to join their organisation on a permanent basis. The organisation is currently turning over 100+ million with ambitious plans for growth, therefore there is fantastic career progression opportunities available. Hours of work for this role are fairly flexible however they do require an early start circa 6/7am with a working week of 37.5 hours. If you have a background within food/food manufacturing this would be highly advantageous.

Responsibilities within this role are as follows:

  • The management of stock across warehouses both on site and externally
  • Identifying overstocks
  • Stock analysis
  • Reporting on stock levels
  • Coordination of imports and exports
  • Assisting in the coordination of stock takes and stock reporting
  • Excellent opportunity to progress into a number of areas within the business

What are we looking for?

  • Strong A-Levels and a degree in Finance, Business, Maths or Economics (min 2:1)
  • A high level of analytical and numerical problem solving skills
  • Ability to identify patterns and trends in complex data sets
