Overview

Company: This medium sized consultancy specialises in Civil and Structural Engineering and in particular they are heavily involved in office, warehouse and industrial building developments. Their range of services includes the co-ordination of specialist geotechnical and contamination investigations, design of site remediation, design and detailing of highways works, and the design of building foundations and superstructures alongside other smaller scheme structural engineering works.

Responsibilities

• You will be working closely with the design team to produce a range of Civil/Structural Engineering drawings including reinforced concrete detailing and structural steelwork.
• Gradually be given the opportunity to design a wide variety of building structures across interesting sectors.
• Communicate effectively in written form and verbally.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years experience working within a Structural Engineering environment.
• Comfort designing in common materials (steel, concrete, masonry and timber).
• Ability to deliver projects through to completion.
• Proficient in the use of TEDDS, Building Designer and Tekla.
