The recruitment consultant role

Recruitment is sales driven and involves building relationships with clients and candidates both over the phone and in person. You don't need any prior recruitment experience, just the hunger to succeed & some form of client or customer facing experience. Your Responsibilities

• Following your initial training & development programme (tailored to you), you will begin to build your niche market and craft your skills as a Specialist IT Recruitment Consultant.
• You will use your personality to build long lasting relationships with both clients and candidates, whilst proving a bespoke and professional service
• Using business development techniques, you will grow your impressive portfolio of clients, who will be eager to utilise your skills as a niche IT Recruitment Consultant
• You will identify, approach and source potential candidates through a variety of attraction methods as part of the end-to-end recruitment cycle
• You will act as the "go-to" in your business area, developing a specialist knowledge of your market

What do you need?

For this position, previous sales experience is essential (a minimum of 6 months experience in some form of sales or customer facing environment). You should have ability and drive to work to tough deadlines, negotiate sales and develop client relationships. You will be financially motivated & eager to build your own unique business within Reperio. You need to be prepared for the tough challenges that a recruitment role is going to throw at you.
