Overview

Job Title: Graduate Submarines Product Safety Engineer (Dangerous Substances and EXPLOSIVE Atmospheres Regulations)

Location: Barrow (Cumbria)

We offer relocation support packages for this role, subject to meeting eligibility criteria. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements; however for this role you will be expected to attend your site 3-5 days per week.

Salary: £34,000 + £2,000 Welcome Bonus

Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of DSEAR technical risk assessments of site, facilities and site related projects.
  • Supporting DSEAR workshops and risk cell as required.
  • Undertake Hazardous area classification drawing updates with support.
  • Work closely with a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Organise and support meetings, workshops, desktop studies, walk downs etc. as required to support deliverables.
  • Provide secretarial and administrative support to appropriate meetings and Working Groups/ risk cells.
  • Site and Facility DSEAR risk assessment delivery.
