What will you be doing?

Working within the Planning team you will support the planning manager by providing assistance in the following;

• Support the project team to drive projects forward to achieve the project programme
• Participate in collaborative planning sessions with project stakeholders
• Develop and manage project schedules using Primavera P6 software
• Develop schedules into 4D digital plans which are intelligently linked to the 3D model
• Develop key relationships with clients, design teams, consultants, contractors, and other project stakeholders
• Plan and manage site operations, to ensure safety, quality, cost effectiveness, timely production and customer satisfaction
• Ensure actions are carried out at the right time, by the right people and to a controlled budget
• Undertake a placement on one of our construction sites, where you will be embedded into one of our project delivery teams, to learn how engineering designs are built into operable assets which deliver water and wastewater solutions for customers

What will I need to be considered?

• Have achieved or on track to achieve your Engineering related degree in either Civil, Mechanical or Construction Management
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Unfortunately, this role does not meet the minimum salary requirements for sponsorship on this role
• Have the ability to travel to the office and sites (some of our sites are difficult to access through public transport)
• Meaning a full UK driving licence would be preferred
• Flexibility – Successful candidates will need to be flexible and willing to spend time in other offices and sites
• Great communication skills (Written and Verbal)
