Role Overview
Join Travis Baker’s Geo-Environmental team based in Halesowen, West Midlands, UK, on a full-time, permanent basis. The team provides consultancy and design services to engineers, house-builders, developers, and local authorities. Key Responsibilities
- Participating in a variety of geo-environmental projects for external clients and internal teams.
- Assisting with ground investigations and desk studies.
- Soil logging to current UK standards, including laboratory scheduling.
- Interpreting factual site investigation data.
- Writing factual and interpretative geo-environmental reports.
- Supervising remediation and earthworks projects (training provided).
- Developing project management skills alongside more experienced colleagues.
- Travel to other offices and sites within the UK, as needed.
Qualifications And Experience
- 2:1 or 1st class honours degree in geology, geophysics, mining geology, or geosciences; final-year students predicted to graduate in 2025 are welcome.
- Clear communicator, outgoing, and a strong team player.
- Comfortable with demanding site work and the technical interpretation and reporting of site data.
- Motivated to work with one of the UK’s leading geoscience consultancy/contractor organisations.
