Overview

Job Title: Graduate Naval Ships Export Control

Location: Scotstoun (Glasgow)

We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements, however for this role you will be expected to attend your site 3-5 days per week.

Salary: £34,000 + £2,000 Welcome Bonus

Responsibilities
  • The Export Control Graduate will be over a period of 2 years, learning the fundamental principles of export control legislation across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Understanding and enacting the compliance requirements for each; shadowing Export Control Officers in all the programmes and capability centre to gain understanding of the multiple complex layers of requirements and how these differ across programmes.
  • Working on Export Control investigations and Export Control audits and self assurance.
  • Additionally will be tasked to identify and undertake a specific project to improve or enhance the export control team's activities.

The Naval Ships Team

We design and build offshore patrol vessels, giant aircraft carrier and provide complex warships including the Type 26 Frigate to the Royal Navy, giving the customer capability to fulfil operations around the world.
