Job description
Overview

You'll be part of an experienced team, assisting in the delivery of a full range of Building Surveying services across commercial properties. A key feature of our programme is early and consistent client exposure—giving you the opportunity to build relationships and develop confidence in real‑world settings from the outset. We offer one pathway: a 24‑month programme designed to support you in completing the APC to become a chartered Surveyor.

Responsibilities
  • Assist an experienced team to operate a full range of building surveying instructions on a variety of commercial properties, including offices, retail and industrial.
  • Work on professional and contract assignments, typically split 50:50 between professional and contract work. Projects range from small refurbishments to large multi‑million projects, with roles that may include designer, contract administrator, project manager, or a hybrid of these.
  • Act as project manager of multi‑discipline teams for instructions typically ranging from £2.5 million to £20 million.
  • Support work from the property management portfolio and work with clients where a management brief is not in place.
  • Collaborate with an internal CAD team for drawing work while gaining a balanced exposure across varied tasks to develop a well‑rounded skillset.
Requirements
  • RICS Accredited Degree for the Building Surveying Pathway, with honors at lower second standard (2:2) or equivalent. To check eligibility, please reference internal guidance.
  • GCSE grade 4 (or C) or above in English and mathematics
