A healthcare organization in Stockport is seeking an experienced Medical Secretary. This role involves providing secretarial and administrative support to the practice. Candidates should have experience with EMIS Web and DocMan, and enjoy working in a busy environment. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential. The position is for 21 hours per week over 3 or 4 days.
We are looking for an experiencedMedical Secretary to join our team. The job will predominantly be workalongside our current Medical Secretary but will also include someadministrative duties as outlined in the job description. We are seeking anenthusiastic, motivated and proactive candidate to join our team.
The successful candidate willneed to provide a first-class level of Secretarial and Administrative duties tosupport the wider team at the Practice. We will expect them to enjoy working ina busy office environment and be prepared to go the extra mile.
The role of Secretary isrewarding but can be demanding so we are looking for someone who is confident,has excellent communication skills, is highly organised and good atmulti-tasking.
The successful candidate must haveEMIS Web and DocMan experience and have a flexible approach to working.
Experience of working in ahealthcare environment would be an advantage.
The job will be 21 hours per week,over 3 or 4 days with shift patterns agreed to suit. As the practice grows thisrole will have more hours available to support the team.

The purpose of the job is to work autonomously to provide general secretarial and administrative support to the Practice, Doctors and Health Professionals, involving word processing skills with general clerical work.
