Job summary

A healthcare provider located in Bury is seeking a dedicated support team member to provide administrative services to the Medical and Governance Team. The role requires knowledge of NHS protocols, excellent organisational and communication skills, and a minimum of 5 GCSEs including Maths and English. This is a part-time position at 20 hours per week on a fixed 12-month contract.

Qualifications

  • Understanding of confidentiality regulations and protocols.
  • Knowledge of the NHS and OOH Care.
  • Knowledge of Adastra and Local/National Quality Requirements.
  • Understanding of Health and Safety regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative services to the clinical and governance team.
  • Assist and support clinical and non-clinical audit teams.
  • Coordinate tasks on behalf of the Chief Clinical and Governance Officer.
  • Maintain specialist manual and electronic information systems.
  • Provide reports for EMT and Board Level.
  • Attend meetings and distribute minutes.

Main duties of the job

The main purpose of the post is to provide comprehensive and efficient support to the Medical and Governance Team. An important aspect of this post is the understanding and ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.

Job responsibilities
  • Provide administrative services to the clinical and governance team.
  • To provide the material for audit as required by clinical governance; this is achieved by assisting and supporting the clinical and non-clinical audit teams by downloadingthe requested/required calls and saving/storingrequested case numbers.
  • To be responsible for the administration and recording of audits.
  • To coordinate tasks, duties and projects on behalf of the Chief Clinical and Governance Officer and the GP Clinical Lead.
  • Maintain specialist manual and electronic information and filing systems.
  • Collating statistics and providing reports when required for EMT and Board Level.
  • Assist with the preparation and distribution of appropriate information to those within the clinical department and other internal and external staff.
  • Attend meetings when required, undertake and distribution of minutes.
  • To answer telephone enquiries from a variety of sources in a professional, helpful, and courteous manner whilst maintaining confidentiality
