An exciting opportunity has arisen for a divisional governance and assurance officer to work within the newly created Diagnostic Treatment Centre. Reporting to the Head of Governance, the post holder will have a good understanding and knowledge of governance in a health care setting and will have responsibility for supporting all aspects of governance across their area of responsibility. This will include advice and support regarding incident and complaints management processes and clinical effectiveness. The post holder will have good analytical skills as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. Candidates should have skills and experience of key governance and assurance principles. This role also requires individuals with excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage their own workload without supervision within a busy environment.

The post holder will work closely with the leadership teams within Imaging, Pharmacy and Liverpool Clinical Laboratories promoting and facilitating the Quality Governance Framework within each service. Applicants should have a good understanding and knowledge of the Governance agenda across the NHS. Reporting to the Head of Governance for the Diagnostic Treatment Centre, the post holder will have responsibility for supporting all aspects of governance across each service, including incident and complaint management, risk, and clinical audit and effectiveness processes.
