Job summary

A recruitment agency in Wiltshire is seeking a reliable and organised Goods In & Out Operator for a permanent, full-time position. You will ensure efficient material flow, manage goods receipt and dispatch, and maintain inventory records. The ideal candidate has prior experience in a warehouse environment and strong attention to detail. This role is crucial for supporting production efficiency and requires hands-on involvement in various warehouse tasks.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in goods in/out, stores, warehouse, or similar role.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and dispatch goods.
  • Check loads for damaged or missing items.
  • Store goods in correct locations and maintain organised stock areas.
  • Prepare, pack, and load items for shipment.
  • Book transport for outgoing deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate records of all goods movements.
  • Move and rearrange stock manually or using lifting equipment.
  • Support WIP movements between production cells.
  • Conduct monthly stock counts and reconcile inventory.
  • General housekeeping to keep the warehouse safe and tidy.
  • Liaise with other departments to coordinate workloads.
  • Assist with swarf collection and recycling.
  • Provide cover for forklift/warehouse duties when required.

Salary: From £30,000 per year (DOE)

Hours: Monday–Thursday 08:00–17:00, Friday 08:00–13:00

Eligibility: Must be eligible to work in the UK
