What role you will play on our team

If successful, you will be an integral part of our Global Trading team, supporting the Global Biofuels Trading Manager. We are seeking a pioneering and visionary analytics leader to serve as the first global commodity analytics lead for bio markets, setting the standard for analytics excellence across biofeedstocks, biofuels, and carbon markets.

What you will do

Strategic Leadership:

  • Define and drive the global analytics strategy for bio commodities, establishing best practices and frameworks for wider application across the organization.

Market Expertise:

  • Provide deep insight into complex, fast‑evolving bio markets (biofeedstocks, biofuels, carbon).
  • Understand diverse commodity types, compliance regimes, and varied counterpart structures.
  • Analyze regional market dynamics across North America, Europe, and Asia‑Pacific.

Thought Leadership:

  • Act as a subject‑matter expert and guide the organization through the intricacies of bio markets, identifying emerging trends and opportunities.

Team Management:

  • Lead and develop a geographically distributed team of analysts across four global locations (London, Singapore, Houston, Calgary).
  • Build strong partnerships with traders, trading leadership, and the Global Biofuels/Carbon Trading Manager.
  • Collaborate with trading, strategy, and regulatory teams to align analytics with commercial priorities and regulatory developments.

Value Creation:

  • Identify trading opportunities through rigorous analysis and deliver actionable insights that create measurable commercial value (P&L) across all global bio markets.
About you
  • Deep understanding of bio commodities markets, regional differences, and regulatory landscapes.
  • Experience leading and mentoring teams in a multi‑location, multicultural environment.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • London office‑based; full‑time, on‑site presence (5 days per week).
