Girls PE Teacher - Crewe Area - Part-Time - Easter Start - Fixed-Term Contract

Are you a motivated and inspiring Girls' PE Teacher who loves promoting confidence, teamwork and resilience through sport?

Academics is working with a welcoming secondary school in the Crewe area to appoint a part-time Girls' PE Teacher. This maternity cover begins after Easter 2026 and runs until July 2026, with the potential to extend until Christmas 2026 for the right candidate. The role consists of 3 days per week on site.

About the role:
  • Deliver high-quality, engaging PE lessons to KS3 and KS4 girls
  • Create a positive, energetic learning environment that encourages participation and effort
  • Manage behaviour effectively and promote respect, teamwork and perseverance
  • Contribute to the planning, development and delivery of the PE curriculum
  • Support extra-curricular sport and whole-school sporting activities
What you'll need:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) in Physical Education
  • Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 PE (KS5 experience is desirable but not essential)
  • A passion for encouraging students to lead active, healthy lifestyles
  • Strong behaviour management and a commitment to extra-curricular involvement
