Role:

The Resolute Group is working in partnership with a consultancy specialising in Geotechnical Engineering, with a strong and growing presence across the residential and commercial markets. Their clients range from property developers and housing associations to loss adjusters, insurance companies and private homeowners, with a diverse workload across the UK.

This position requires someone who is both technically minded and commercially aware, with the ability to build trusted relationships. You will enjoy working directly with clients to diagnose problems, discuss geotechnical challenges, and coordinate with engineers to produce appropriate remediation or ground improvement solutions. You will be supported by technical specialists with deep expertise in advanced ground treatment methods.

Day‑to‑day duties will vary but may include:
  • Working with the Engineering team to design and prepare geotechnical solutions tailored to residential and commercial property issues.
  • Reviewing and interpreting site investigation data to help develop detailed treatment and stabilisation designs.
  • Building and managing client relationships, ensuring service quality and identifying opportunities for additional work.
  • Maintaining accurate client and project data within company systems.
  • Providing technical expertise and support during the sales process, from initial contact through to sale closure. This might include presenting and demonstrating products, preparing technical proposals, and responding to technical queries.
  • Proactively reaching out to potential clients to establish relationships, understand their technical requirements and identify opportunities where our solutions can add value.
  • Offering ongoing support to clients after a sale has been made, providing troubleshooting assistance, and advising on upgrades or future enhancements.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering.
  • Experience working on‑site and communicating technical issues with clients.
  • Strong problem‑solving and customer‑facing skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
