Geotechnical Design Engineer

An exciting opportunity for a skilled Geotechnical Design Engineer to join a well‑established and forward‑thinking consultancy on a permanent basis. This role offers the chance to become a key part of a growing technical team working across a wide variety of ground‑engineering, infrastructure and development projects throughout the UK.

As a Geotechnical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for producing detailed geotechnical designs, calculations and specifications, undertaking assessments, interpreting site investigation data and contributing to technical reports. The position also provides opportunities to collaborate closely with engineers from other disciplines, ensuring integrated and efficient design outcomes.

The successful Geotechnical Design Engineer will have a solid understanding of soil mechanics, ground modelling and foundation design, along with experience using industry‑standard geotechnical software.

This permanent role would suit a Geotechnical Design Engineer who enjoys both technical detail and practical problem‑solving, and who is keen to develop professionally within a supportive environment. You will have the opportunity to contribute to projects at all stages, from feasibility through to construction, giving you broad exposure across the ground‑engineering sector.
