A leading supplier of temporary buildings is seeking a qualified generator engineer to maintain and service their fleet of generators. The role involves supporting the depot’s operational team with building maintenance and may require work in varying weather conditions. Job description
Overview

You’ll undertake regular maintenance and servicing of our generator fleet, to maximise their availability for hire. Our generators range from 25 to 100 kVA and are predominantly enclosed in a service pod or welfare unit. You’ll also support the depot’s operational team with maintenance of our buildings and their preparation for delivery, which may include installation, repair or adjustment of plumbing, electrical and general fixtures and fittings.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

You’ll be a time‑served or qualified generator engineer, with practical experience of maintaining and servicing generators up to 117 kVa. Ideally, you’ll also have practical experience of industrial trades such as joinery, plumbing and electrics. Our work is physically demanding and takes place outdoors, so you should be prepared to be exposed to extremes of weather.
