A leading technology company is looking for Generator Engineers in Golborne to service diesel engines and perform maintenance activities. The ideal candidate has a qualification in an electrical or mechanical discipline and experience with fault finding. Responsibilities

• Undertake standard service activities to include diesel engine servicing.
• Carry out contract maintenance and inspection to Vertiv standards.
• Basic fault finding and rectification in electrical and/or mechanical disciplines.
• Identify opportunities for extra work (SQD) & recommendations.
• Perform remedial work to contract customers as needed.
• Complete and submit relevant reports timely.

What will you be doing in our team?

They service a wide variety of clients that we work with on a daily basis from datacentres to critical buildings. What are we looking for?

Qualification in either electrical or mechanical discipline.

Experience of Electrical or Mechanical fault finding & rectification.

Comfortable with using a laptop.

Experience in a field operations role.

Ideally, previous experiences within the generator stand-by power or related industry but not essential.

What will you be doing?

Undertake standard service activities to include diesel engine servicing.

Carry out contract maintenance and inspection on a planned basis to Vertiv standards.

Basic fault finding and rectification in both Electrical and / or Mechanical disciplines.

Identify opportunities for extra work (SQD) & recommendations.

Remedial work to contract customers either planned repairs or as part of a call out facility.

On rota-call out response.

Completion and submission of relevant reports to service administration within a timely manner following all site activity.

Comply with all Company Health and Safety Requirements.
