About the Role

Reporting to the Regional Director Plastic Europe, this role is a key leadership position within Trelleborg’s Sealing Solutions division with accountability for the financial, commercial and manufacturing performance of the site.

Responsibilities

• Lead the on‑site senior management team responsible for all elements of running the site, including the end‑to‑end manufacturing process, able to make real‑time and strategic decisions to ensure an optimised operation every day.
• Ensure successful business development by working collaboratively with Sales, Marketing, Product Line Directors and Regulatory/Quality colleagues.
• Develop and implement a strategy that improves the site performance across all metrics, including EHS, colleague engagement, leadership development, continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Establish and drive best practice throughout all areas of the business by effective use of continuous improvement practices and methodologies.
• You will have a continuous improvement approach with a “can do” attitude, be passionate about supporting current and future business needs with the voice of the customer at the forefront, and possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the opportunity to challenge opinions when required.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree or Associate’s degree in Engineering or a related subject preferred.
• General Management or senior‑level management experience within a similar manufacturing environment.
• Experience working with a trade union and understanding of collective bargaining.
