GENERAL MANAGER

Daytona Sandown Park, Greater London’s leading karting venue, is recruiting for a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead the operation and deliver outstanding service at our famous circuit.

This is a diverse, hands-on role with full responsibility for managing the race circuit, hospitality services, and conference facilities. If you are passionate about delivering high-quality customer experiences and ready to take on an exciting leadership challenge in motorsport, we want to hear from you.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will be responsible for the overall success of the venue, leading a team of over 50 staff, including three department heads, and ensuring the smooth and safe running of events. From day-to-day operations to long-term strategic planning, this is a key leadership role within the Daytona group.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·Lead and develop a high-performing team across all departments

·Oversee the smooth and efficient operation of the venue

·Maintain excellent product and service standards

·Ensure safety and compliance at all times

·Meet financial targets and identify new commercial opportunities

·Drive customer satisfaction and repeat business through quality service

·Evaluate and improve operational processes

CANDIDATE PROFILE

·Proven experience managing large teams in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment

·Strong organisational, motivational, and communication skills

·Comfortable with public speaking and presenting to groups

·Commercially driven with strong budgeting and sales skills

·Confident using IT systems, including Microsoft Office, EPOS, and CRM platforms

·Hands-on operational knowledge and ability to lead by example

·Understanding of and interest in motorsport and/or the leisure industry

·Committed to health and safety compliance for both staff and customers

Full product and service training will be provided.
