Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated General Catering Assistant to join our team in Swansea, United Kingdom. As a key member of our catering staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food service and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.

  • Assist the Vending team to fill and cleaning vending machines.
  • Assist the Chef when required.
  • Serve meals, snacks, and drinks, including assisting customers
  • Clean and maintain equipment, crockery, and cutlery as required
  • Support and provide service in various areas, including serveries, retail outlets, hospitality functions, and coffee shops
  • Ensure all food is handled in accordance with Food Safety & Quality Management System standards
  • Carry out work in compliance with relevant Health & Safety legislation and Codes of Practice
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training
  • Maintain proper storage of raw materials and packaging materials
  • Actively contribute to the Zero Harm culture within the organisation
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service delivery
  • Demonstrate flexibility in working hours to meet the needs of the catering operation
Qualifications
  • Customer Care and Customer Service experience, preferably in a Catering environment
