Position Overview

2 x Personal Assistants for R

R is a bright, funny and energetic individual who is looking for a personal assistant to help him live life to the fullest. He is a determined entrepreneur in the making and excited to find someone who matches his energy and enthusiasm. R is a manual wheelchair user with cerebral palsy and uses a communication aid.

Role Details

In this role you could be attending R’s activities in the car and helping him to participate with his friends. On other days you could also be going out for food together and helping R with his physio exercises. R loves staying active by doing frame running, swimming, going to the gym and doing exercises at home, and you will be required to support him with these activities which is why it’s essential that you have a lot of energy yourself.

Ideal Candidate

• Experience but willing to learn from R.
• Shares R’s interest in music and sports and is adventurous.

Requirements

• Being nearby Robroyston or having access to transport; will be required to take public transport with R.
• Clean license and a car is desirable.
• Manual handling and personal care may be involved depending on R’s needs.

Compensation

There will be 2 positions available for approximately 14 and 15 hours per week with an hourly rate of £13.60. Please note: this job position will be contracted on a Zero-Hours basis.
