Overview

Description: As a Service Delivery Engineer, you will provide a vital service by implementing, monitoring, and evaluating chemical delivery systems. Taking ownership of teams/sites, you will ensure the client have the service needed to operate in a safe and compliant manner while supporting our customer\'s needs.

Responsibilities
  • Implementing, monitoring, and assessing chemical injection systems to ensure system reliability and performance.
  • Sampling, analysing and reporting on routine process and water streams to determine system performance.
  • Maintaining chemical and inventory monitoring to ensure correct rates of operation.
  • Troubleshooting and correcting customer systems to resolve production related challenges and to ensure optimization of contract KPIs.
  • Overseeing product dosage rates and application changes for customer specifications to meet defined objectives.
  • Providing technical guidance for mobilization and demobilization of chemical injection system to ensure safety and performance.
  • This role will work within the field service delivery team to regularly sample, analyse, interpret, report, monitor and maintain our chemical injection systems and the processes which they are being applied to.
  • Experience working in a crude oil refinery environment around crude receiving and processing units (tank farms, desalters, distillation units and overhead condensing systems).
Qualifications
  • Have a technical diploma, degree or equivalent related work experience.
  • Show good, general technical knowledge of company\'s products and services and their applications to customer needs and requirements.
  • Have good laboratory practice experience in an analytical or industrial environment.
  • Be a self-starter, proactively taking the initiative to identify and solve problems.
  • Demonstrate a customer-focused mindset and have a structured efficient approach to responding to customer needs.
  • Have excellent all-round communication skills.
  • Show a good understanding of IT such as MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
