A leading heating and facilities management company is seeking a Gas Service & Breakdown Engineer to service and maintain domestic heating systems across High Wycombe and Oxford. Gas Service & Breakdown Engineer

Salary: £42,000 - £50,000 per annum (DOE)

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

We’re looking for an experienced Gas Service & Breakdown Engineer to join a well-established and respected heating business with a strong presence across the South West and beyond. You’ll be working across the High Wycombe and Oxford regions, providing high-quality servicing and breakdown repairs to domestic central heating systems. The Role
  • Service, maintain and repair domestic boilers and heating systems
  • Deliver high levels of customer care while meeting quality and performance standards
  • Communicate effectively with scheduling teams, ensuring accurate documentation
  • Follow all Health & Safety procedures, risk assessments, and safe systems of work
  • Manage van stock efficiently and maintain a strong first‑time‑fix rate
What You’ll Need
  • Current ACS qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1 (valid for at least 3 months)
  • Additional qualifications such as Unvented (G3), Oil, or LPG are desirable
  • Full UK driving licence
  • DBS and baseline security checks will be required
  • A friendly, professional approach and pride in delivering quality work
